She spoke about how her mother suffered a heart attack and stroke when she was 17, leaving her disabled. Her father later passed away from cancer in 2018, and her mother tragically succumbed to a stomach infection after being sick for an extended period of time. Dealing with such immense loss was challenging, but Demi has been able to find solace in meditation, sound healing, and her faith. Although it takes time, she feels that she has progressed and is in a much better place now.
